  教材分析:

  有关职业的词汇在四年级就已经开始接触到了,本节课主要继续学习有关职业的单词,围绕factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer. 小组活动为学生们提供了一次很好的与他人交流合作的机会,增强对同伴的了解,巩固所学功能句。

  学情分析:

  经过三年的英语学习,学生已经具备了一定的`语言基础和交际能力,并掌握了一些学习英语的技能。他们富有活力、思维跳跃极强、表现欲强。我们在设计教学活动中应考虑学生已有的知识水平,在此基础上适当拓展语言。对于职业的话题,学生比较感兴趣,并且有了不错的词语积累,能够顺畅地就这一话题进行交流。

  课时目标:

  1.能够听、说、读、写有关职业的单词和词组:factory worker,

  postman, businessman, police officer.

  2.能够灵活运用句型:What does he/she do? He/She is …谈论人物的职业。

  3.了解英语中职业名称对于不同性别的差异,并进行职业理想教育。

  教学重难点:

  1.本课时的重点是能够听、说、读、写Let’s learn 部分的四个职业名称,并能简单问答What does she/he do? 等句型询问他人的职业及工作情况。

  2.难点是新单词的认读与理解。能够对他人的职业及工作情况作大致的描述:

  She/He is…

  He sells things/helps sick people … She/ He works

  教学准备:

  1.准备与本课时相关的单词卡片

  2.教师准备与本课时相关的ppt和录音带。

  3.教师给学生准备作为奖励的小礼物。

  教学过程:

  Step 1:warm-up

  1.教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,做简单的Free Talk。

  2.Sing a song: What do you want to do?

  My mother is a teacher.

  My father is a worker.

  My uncle is a policeman.

  What do you want to do?

  What do you want to do?

  What do you want to do?

  I want to be a pilot.

  I want to be a postman.

  I want to be a scientist.

  That’s what I will be.

  3.教师展示PPT带领学生用游戏的方式复习单词.

  Do you remember ?doctor、teacher、nurse、driver、farmer、baseball player.职业名词也可以和对应动作相结合,把动词和对应名词在黑板上逐一呈现出来,如果在复习时加入肢体语言效果会更好。

  Step 2: Presentation

  1.教师出示图片或名人照片,问“What is she /he ?What does she /he do ? ”交替问答学生,如“He’s a driver (singer…)”。教师可以补充:“Oh,he is a driver. He often drivers cars. She is a singer. She often sings songs.”

  She is a factory worker.(工厂工人)She often works in a factory 自然引入本节课的新知factory worker,然后用升降调领读,让学生齐读,分组读,板书factory worker。引导学生注意:work(工作)+ er→ worker。

  2.PPT展示:He is a postman.邮递员。postcard 明信片

  然后用升降调领读,让学生齐读,男女生读,板书postman

  3.PPT展示:My father is a businessman.商人business(商业)+ man(人) →businessman /businesswoman 女商人。然后用升降调领读,让学生齐读,高低声读,板书businessman。

  4.PPT展示:My mother is a police officer.警察

  policeman 男警察

  policewoman 女警察

  然后用升降调领读,让学生齐读,高低声读,板书police officer

  5.PPT展示几张图片练习新单词结识特殊疑问句句型:

  A:What does she do?

  B:She is a factory worker

  A:What does he do?

  B:He is a postman.

  A:What does your father do?

  B:He is a businessman.

  A:What does your mother do?

  B:She is a police officer.

  A:What does your uncle do?

  B:He is a doctor.

  A:What does Chen Jie’s mother do?

  B:She is a teacher.

  6.PPT展示几张图片练习新单词结识一般疑问句句型:

  A: Is your father a postman?

  B:No, he isn’t.He is a driver.

  A:Is your mother a nurse?

  B:Yes, she is.

  A:Is your brother a policeman?

  B:No, he isn’t.He is a businessman.

  7.播放录音,学生跟读,学生通过听录音、模仿学习生词的读音,注意词形变化规律,如:-er和-man。利用男女不同职业的图片,提示学生:postman和postwoman,businessman 和businesswoman,policeman和policewoman,waiter和waitress等,了解英语中职业名称对于不同性别的差异。

  Step 3: Practice

  1.教师和学生一起进行活动“快看快说”。

  教师同时快速出示一张职业图片和she, he, 和Sarah 中的任意一张卡片,学生根据卡片上的内容快速说出一个句子,如:She is factory worker.

  2.教师带学生进行“对卡片,说句子”活动。

  学生把本课职业单词卡片正面朝上放在课桌上,随意抽取一张。教师也从自己的卡片中抽取一张,然后和学生同学说:“What does she do?”教师迅速向学生展示自己的卡片,和教师选同一张卡片的学生起立根据卡片内容回答:“She is a …/He is a ....”

  Step4: Consolidation and extension

  在小组合作中巩固生词,练习句型,教师依次戴上Zhang Peng, Oliver等人物的头饰,并介绍说:“I am Zhang Peng .I am going to be a postman . I am Oliver. I am going to be a /an…”然后向一名学生提问“What are you going to be ?”引导学学生回答:“I’m going to be a/an …”

  Step5: Summary

  教师和学生一起总结本课时的教学重点,回顾学过的知识内容。

  作业设计:

  1.熟练掌握本课时的重点知识内容。、

  2. Make a survey

  让学生之间进行调查:

  What does your mother do? What does your father /mother do? What are you going to be ?

  这是一项集交际、任务、评价等目标于一体的综合性语言活动。学生通过实践、参与等途径,在学习过程中能将外部的操作活动和内部的语言思维活动相结合起来,形成一个学生主体自己操作、自己体验、自己感悟的过程,最终发展学生的综合语言运用能力。

  教后反思:本课的内容较多,教师在教学过程中应该注意把握好时间,掌握节奏,并且做的重点突出,重点强调Let’s learn部分,而在主题图和Let’s chant 部分只要求学生会读、会唱即可,不必作太多的要求。

  老师在课堂上应该注意提醒学生细节问题,比如businessman、postman的复数形式,在以元音因素开头的名词里,前面要用an,这些都是一些比较容易出错的地方,老师应该注意给学生强调指出。
